Adobe User Group Program invitation

http://www.action-scripter.com/blog/trackback/1193
Hello,

I'd like to officially welcome you into Adobe’s User Group Program!

From here, all you need to do to remain in the program is continue to meet regularly and keep your Adobe Groups site active and updated. Groups with web sites that are outdated by 2 months or more may be classified as inactive until they can comply with the program guidelines.

And now, there are a few administrative issues that I need to cover.  I am sorry for the length, but getting you correctly set up on the program is important, so please read this email carefully and feel free to ask questions about anything unclear.

First, we need to get you under NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) with Adobe. We give user group managers access to information before some products are released and we cannot do that unless you are under NDA. Sharing NDA information is a trust we take very seriously. You can discuss NDA information on our mailing lists and with other user group managers, but NDA information cannot be shared with other members of your user group, on your blogs, in e-mail, or anywhere else. If you are ever in doubt about whether information is under NDA or not, please ask.

Sometime in the next 72 hours or so, you will receive an invite to subscribe to the program lists on the Adobe Prerelease server.  When you accept the invitation and visit the site for the first time, you will be prompted to accept the Adobe NDA.

Please use the same e-mail address for all Adobe program resources, and it needs to be the e-mail address that is listed in your Adobe.com site ID. If you don’t have an account on the site, setting this up is the first thing you need to do. Some information about the Adobe.com ID is here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_16721&sliceId=2

Please be aware that you need to take an additional step beyond just signing up if you want to receive list messages via e-mail.

The system we use for messaging allows you to receive e-mail as well as read all messages in a web forum. The default setting for new accounts is to read messages in the forum, so if you want to receive messages as e-mail, you will need to go to the Resources section, go to the list of forums, and check the “Subscribe” box for each one to start getting e-mail messages. If you have any issues in getting set up on the lists or do not receive an invite within three days please let us know.

 These are the program lists:

AUG-Announce list – this mailing list is where program information, announcements, and other key news from Adobe will be delivered. It is a low-traffic, announce-only list.
AUG-General list – a discussion list that connects you with other user group managers worldwide, as well as some Adobe employees. This list hosts general discussion related to the program, group management questions, etc. Feel free to post an introductory message to the list telling the other group managers hello. They are a terrific resource for new managers and are very welcoming.  This list is higher-traffic, and time-pressed managers might want to either filter it into a folder or read messages via the web.

Once you’re under NDA, I can add you to the Adobe Community Managers group on Adobe Groups. You will be able to find information on the many benefits provided to user group managers by Adobe and by 3rd parties.

Please let me know when you’ve accepted the NDA.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I look forward to supporting your efforts!

Best regards,

John

뭐가 이리도 어려운가? 아무래도 AUG를 활성화 하기에는 부족한게 너무 많은 것 같다. 우리도 local에서 얼른 벋어나야 할텐데..
